We have created 18 videos in the ‘Who Am I?’ series to help people understand who they’re talking to, why they are speaking to them and to hopefully relieve anxiety about hospital/health visits.
How we made the ‘Who am I?’ Series
The idea for the ‘Who am I?’ Series came from a focus group we held as part of the
Torbay Community Carers Project in February 2018.
The carers at the event said it would really help them to know more about what each health and care practitioner could do to help the person they’re caring for, as it would help them prepare more for each appointment.
We took this feedback on board and started creating the
‘Who am I?’ videos.
Here are the other medical professionals that the videos identify:
- Discharge Coordinator
- Pharmacist
- Dietician
- Speech and Language Therapist
- Physiotherapist
- Health Visitor
- Health Care Assistant
- District Nurse
- Registered Nurse
- Junior Doctor
- Surgeon
- Consultant
- Podiatrist
- Social Worker
- Care Support Worker
- Healthcare Coordinator
- Informal Carer
