Commissioning Your Own
Health and Care Videos is a service for clinicians and practitioners, by clinicians and practitioners. All the videos that we produce arise from demand from people working in health and care, and the content in our videos is written by clinicians and practitioners. They know what is needed to help patients, users and staff. We just take their knowledge and convert it into short and simple videos that you can use to help the people you care for, and to support your colleagues.
As a result, we want you to take advantage of the videos in the library but also, to create your own content. This can be either for your own local use or perhaps you can add new videos to our ever-growing library, so that other clinicians and practitioners can take advantage of your knowledge and experience. There are two main options available to you.
Making videos for your local use only
Our production team can help you to create your very own videos for use only in your own organisation. In other words, these are videos that won’t be added to the Health and Care Videos library. Please contact us and we will be pleased to discuss your needs and how we can help.
Making videos that can be added to our library
You may want to create videos for use in your own organisation that are also suitable for adding into the Health and Care Videos library. We can offer a 15% discount on the prices below for the production of these videos. So, if you want to work with us to create content that would be yours to use in your own organisation, and that will be also added to the library, please contact us and we will be pleased to discuss your needs and how we can help.
Using video clips within your video
You may wish to add video clips to your video to illustrate some of the key messages; for example, showing how to use a piece of equipment. This can be done in 2 ways:
– Library video clips. You can use existing clips from our library that we have already filmed, or
– Your video clips. We can film the clips you need specifically for you.

Standard Production
This involves our standard production process using a scripted, actor to camera process usually filmed in our studio.
Bespoke Production
Situations when more project management and senior editors need to be involved such as interviews, recruitment and promotional videos. Requires more in depth planning and editing.
Onsite Filming
£900/£600 + VAT per day/half day in addition to the production costs above, plus travel and accommodation if applicable. We also have the option of either our onsite studio or a simulation suite at Torbay Hospital. Please enquire about pricing for these.
Animation
Price on application due to the range of styles available.
Can we put the video into our library?
15% discount on these prices if your video is added into our library.
Completion
Once complete, you will get an MP4 video file for each video and an embed code that will be live for a minimum of three years. There are no ongoing licence fees or limits in the number users or viewers; they are your videos to use as you wish.
